Last Sunday, there was a concert by Audrey Assad in downtown Steubenville. The price was right (only $10!), the local was close (only 10 minutes away!) and the music promised to be fantastic (more on that momentarily) so of course, I went. I was blown away. It wasn't your typical concert, but rather a very prayerful time of reflection and song. Audrey is a Catholic artist, and her latest CD is based off the Incarnation, Psalm 23, and the Holy Spirit (hello! great song topics!).

This past Wednesday, I was blessed once again to attend a talk by Christopher West on Theology of the Body. Over 1000 people were there, and the beauty of the truths that he spoke were much needed for the entire group there.

The morning after I intented to Rosa, I woke up to some lovely signs outside my door... my favorites? "Your hair matches the middle rose" and "It's always a good commitment when Grace cries (you are flippin' loved)"

Some people doodle in their school notebooks. My doodles take the form of quote-writing. Usually the quote has something to do with the class I'm in (unless it's one of my favorite Bible verses....) Some recent doodles:

I made a desktop image for myself last week, and thought I'd share it with you. It's really simple, but I really like it. It's based on Hebrews 6:19.

This week in my photoshop class, we have to re-create a composite tutorial that we find online. We're allowed to make variations, but the idea is to get us used to and comfortable with following directions online and using different tools in photoshop. Here is the one I'm thinking of doing.

HAPPY FEAST OF ST. FRANCIS!
It's my school's feast day (hello, Franciscan University!), so we had a big Mass with 13 friars and 1200 people attending. Good times all around.
My parents are also here this weekend, and it's nice to be able to spend time with them!
