Time and Place... 2:06 pm, the school library (I know, I know, shocking)
What I can hear... Echosmith's "Cool Kids" and Clean Bandit's "Rather Be"
This past week... I hit a catechetical wall. My roommate (also a theology/catechetics major) and I are in a state of hopeless anticipation of the end of senior year, as we came to the illogical conclusion that we can never be successful as Catechists. (Illogical because we've made it this far in the program, and a conclusion thanks to the catechetics project that is due soon... an hour long presentation of a certain subject of the faith). Today, my goal is to finish a different project that's due on Tuesday with some semblance of professionalism. It's a lofty goal, but I have confidence in myself. I think.
I've been reading... 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, 5 Dysfunctions of a Team, Theology of the Body, and piles of statistics for my thesis.
Recent realization... Marshmallows are my weakness.

I'm oh-so-grateful for... the Liturgy Committee outing that we had yesterday! It was great to just have fun as a group, without worrying about work or stress for a little while. Next week... 3 days of school, then 5 days of freedom. Kinda. I'm looking forward to... fall break. I literally cannot express how excited I am to have a break. It'll consist of homework (lame, I know), a long-overdue haircut, dinner with a priest, and visiting a dear friend at her college. If you have a chance, say a prayer for Fr. Patrick, who celebrates his one year anniversary as a priest today! |
